Writing is always a tough job for everyone- no matter how much you are fond of the language. I consider myself as a writer without much talent but who keeps challegning. It sometimes takes me days to finish up an essay, but I enjoy organizing my thoughts into words and then revising it to make it better.
Defining my writing style is quite difficult, but I think I usually rely on my personal feelings and experiences more than facts or reasons. I guess I am much of an emotional writer. Also, I don’t use difficult or complicated words in my writing unless necessary. My strength in writing is that I sometimes come up with unique expressions. My top priority when writing is portraying my thoughts as perfect as possible to the paper. Effective expression may depends my choice or vocabulary and order of sentences. I think I sometimes make good choices upon that problem. However, this can also be a problem. What I mean is that, sometimes the expression I was trying to portray may be distorted by some unintentional obstacles such as lack of knowledge in grammar or vocabulary. I think I have a character which need a lot of writing in order to make it my strength. Also, I think I need to improve my vocabulary. Even though I don’t have any problem in explaining my ideas, I think my words are very limited. I think I would have to memorize more words in order to write effective essays.
My goal is to become a writer who can write out his/her mind and touch the readers. In order to reach my goal, I would have to listen to my heart more, and try to be true to my own expressions. There is no short cut to becoming a good writer, so I will read more books and write more paragraphs in order to become a good writer!
I like my writing on favorite pictures. It may not be the best one, but I think I enjoyed the most while finishing the descriptions. The reason I like it is not because I got a good score or had brilliant expression in it; it is because it reminds me of beginning of this year, since I wrote it at February, and because it was an unique style of writing, since I never wrote about pictures I took.

I hope I would be able to fill this blog with many essays or poems, which would remind me of the experiences I had whenever I look back and read it.
You have a very balanced opinion of your writing, and I like your careful tone and mode of expression which seems to match your personality. Your descriptions of your pictures are great, but your writing about time spent in Canada was more interesting to me. It showed a lot of honesty. That said, I think you can try to expand your sentences and you definitely need to clean up some of the tiny errors you make, which I'm sure you'd discover if you took the time do a careful inspection. Minor things like spelling errors and missing articles (the, a) and plurals are easy to master with proofreads.
답글삭제I'd also like to see you exceed the minimum word count, as you're a bit short on this one and the TED video. I think you'll improve a lot this year, and your writing seems like it is on the verge of overcoming minor grammar issues. Good work.
